Calves are born in the spring and market ready the following Fall. Our Angus cattle are pasture raised, grazing in the summer and wintering on local hay. Our Beef remain in the pasture and are finished the last 90-120 days on local Delta Barley, Oats and Peas to create a marbeled, sweet, tender beef.
Premium Beef are sold by the whole or half @ $5.00/lb based on the actual hanging weight.
Beef Farm Slaughter – $75/side or $150/whole.
Sides of beef are delivered to the processing on the day of slaughter and hung for 7-10days. Processing is typically $1.20/lb and is paid directly to the processor at time of pickup.
Sides of Beef range from 250lb – 400lb. Approx. Cost including slaughter and processing are as follows; Small 275lb+/- ($1,800) Medium 325b+/- ($2,000) Large 375lb+/- ($2,300)
Premium Grass-fed Beef are $6.00/lb and are Special Order Only with a cut-off of July 1st. If you would like Grass-fed please note this on your deposit.
Specialty processing such as snack sticks, summer sausage, bratwurst and polish can be ordered at an additional cost of $3-$6/lb minimum 25lb order.
All animals are humanly farm slaughtered once a year between mid-October and Late November and delivered to our butcher for processing.
